With great enthusiasm Viva Flamenco shares information and performance art with schools, libraries, lecture halls and intercultural conferences introducing this art form from Southern Spain-- its culture and history.​

By weaving in the rich historic culture of gypsy flamenco, it brings audiences an overview of the music and movement used as a means to overcome oppression, and demonstrate the strength and dignity of the individual.  Audience participation, whether through palmas(clapping), or learning some steps on stage, is always included and encouraged.

As a mom of three, Toni knows how to involve the kids in the act, giving them an active role in the show, learning basic rhythms, moving their arms, hands, and feet, and ultimately being invited to dance.​

Viva FlamencoNJ performs in a multitude of locals ranging from birthday parties and weddings to 700-seat theater venues, school assemblies, museums, and outdoor festivals (including the Bronx Zoo)!

Locally, Viva can be seen at a variety of dance events and festivals, often combining other dance forms such as Middle Eastern, jazz, and East Indian to draw together the diverse influences of the art in exciting multicultural performances.

Flamenco is a colorful, multi-ethnic, and profound art form that lends itself to presentations in front of any group interested in music, dance, art, history, cultural diversity and self-affirmation.

VivaFlamencNJ has performed for assisted living audiences thrilled by the vibrant music, dance, and costumes. We also love doing lecture-demonstrations for Libraries, Cultural Centers, and Kids' events that combine live music and dance with video history, audience participation, and interaction with the artists.
